Clutch Fitness is your single source for bodybuilding, powerlifting, fitness, and nutrition information and discussions! To help out those new to us, I wanted to provide a more in-depth overview of what is available here at Clutch Fitness. This may be a bit redundant with the short paragraph on the front page, but is necessary to cover the entire scope of community.
First, we realize there are a lot of bodybuilding forums and fitness discussion groups on the net. As long as the internet is alive and kicking, there will be a plethora of these from which to choose. However, if you've visited other forums, you know that each community develops into a certain 'personality'. Each one has its own share of biases, points-of-view, and heritage. And furthermore, each community is moderated a little bit differently. Our desire is to foster a community that is a little different from the rest, in hopes of providing an environment people feel comfortable in. (See our Mission Statement for more details). Hopefully those of you that happen upon us will quickly get a feel for the place and decide to register and make this one of your primary sources for fitness tips, training programs, nutrition information, and real-world feedback on supplements.
Some of the things you will find available on our site are:
Bodybuilding information. We are proud to have among our members, many active competitive bodybuilders. Their experience on stage and in the off-season is invaluable in helping aspiring athletes reach their goals. We discuss everything from diet programs, cutting and bulking protocols, training programs, and more. The discussions and timely feedback serve as your virtual personal trainer!
Powerlifting information. Our community wouldn't be complete without some beasts among us. And we have some of the strongest members around - benching over 500 pounds and deadlifting and squatting over 700 pounds. Well versed in the famed Westside Barbell Training, these Clutch powerlifters are helping our members reach strength goals they never thought possible.
General Fitness information. We fully recognize that not everyone wants to be a bodybuilder or a powerlifter. Some people just want to get in shape, lose a little weight, and feel better about themselves. If you fit in this category, you are more than welcome here too. While all of our beliefs and points-of-view are based on sound science and in vivo studies, we break it down to the basics that any novice can understand. Further, by reading and participating in the more scientific and technical discussions, your overall knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and metabolic processes will be enhanced.
Much, much more! In support of the above points, our community and the site admins are continually publishing new and exciting resources for our members to enjoy. Here is just a short list:

- Articles published by our members as well as guest writers.
- Healthy recipes submitted by our members.
- Tools, templates, and other downloads (bodyfat calculators, post-workout shake calculators, etc).
- Exercise instructionals (complete with photos and videos - coming soon).
