I have the same question I guess lol. Cardio is really kicking my ass lately and I just can't find the motivation. I try telling myself just 20minutes of good cardio and I'm done but then I don't feel I've done enough in that 20min but meh.

no not really that I know of, Im sure you could google something. I know in lyles new(er) fat loss book he talks about some combo of the two.
The typical protocol I follow is: warm up 5 minutes intervals of 30-60 seconds as fast as I can go, then 1-2 minutes slow jog/walk how many intervals depends on how im feeling, usually I do about 10 though, and the times depend on how good of shape Im in at the time. Or if at a track I used to do this: jog 1/4 mile do about 5-10 100 yard sprints rest=walk back to start, catch breath go again then jog another 1/4 mile The basic concept is just that your sprints should be sprints, go all out, then let yourself recover and do it again. Your sprints should always be shorter then the rest. |

HIT works for me as well as interval sessions on the running track. I find treadmill running pretty boring so I find that the more cardio that I can do outside the better.
Open water swimming is something else that I have started to really enjoy. It keeps you toned as well as being good for cutting. ............ 2011 Goals: Sub 12 IronMan Tri Sub 3 Hour Marathon Blog - Brooks Ghost 4 Review |

Each type of cardio has it's own benefits depending on your goals. But from a body comp/health perspective high intensity wins all day over aerobic

Well in my point of view running is the best exercise for fitness.I find fitness treadmill machine running fairly boring so I find that the more aerobic that I can do outside the better. Start normal water swimming is something else that I have began to really appreciate. It keeps you toned as well as being good for reducing.
