I thought I would share a simple Excel-based calculator I put together. I had found on the Web good calculators for 1-Rep Max and some formulas for calculating 1-Rep Max. I did a little simple algebra and came up with a spreadsheet for calculating the theoretical amount of weight a person can lift for any number of reps from 1 to 20, based on the weight and number of reps done to failure at the last workout. I find it very helpful in planning my next workout, and I hope others might find it useful as well.
